New knitting kit Patches hot water bottle cover

This is a new knitting kit for the Make at Home range, a Patches hot water bottle cover in aran wool. The front is a simple intarsia, back plain with garter stitch at the top. Simple enough for beginners.

New Make at Home Mini Kit

This is a new mini kit, the first of a group of designs for smaller kits for the Make at Home range. This is for 3 x lavender bags in wool dk, each with a cotton fabric lavender insert.

This is a really simple knitting kit for garter stitch placemats and coasters using cotton aran as the base yarn with other yarns including raw silk, linen used randomly.

New Crochet Kit for Make at Home

This is a new kit for the Make at Home range. Crochet Squares Cushion Cover Kit, using pure wool DK and a combination of squares and a simple stitch with stripes for the back.

New Make at Home Kits

These are two new kits for the Make at Home range, in the new Simplicity group. Here is a cushion cover and tea cosy, in cotton garter stitch with silk linen and other yarns brought in randomly.

Teacups Wall hanging

This is a new fabric kit for the Make at Home range, a Teacups Wall hanging. This will be on the website and Etsy soon.

New People Cushion Cover

This is a new cushion cover for the Make at Home range in pure wool aran, which will go on to the website in the next few days. Inspired by Peruvian fairisle jumpers from the '70 s, and sampler folk motifs.

New stamped fabric

This is a new fabric using a hand drawn motif, knitting yarn, on linen for the Make at Home fabric kits. This will be used for cushion covers and knitting needle rolls as the cotton reels fabric.

The website is now finished for the Make at Home range of knitting crochet and fabric kits.

Rooster Yarns booklet

The booklet for Rooster Yarns called Village Living has just been published, designs for women and 0-3 year olds.

Nicki Trench did the co ordinating, and I did the designs. The photoshoot was at Nicki s house. I ve really enjoyed working on this, and with Bronagh Miskelly who did the patterns. Everyone especially the knitters have worked hard but it was worth it in the end for such a good result.

Buttons Printed Fabric

The website for the Make at Home range is now being done. I ve decided to add some fabric kits to the knitting and crochet kits. The first fabric is a linen printed with a stamp, based on a drawing I did of a cotton reel. The second and third are tea cups and buttons, printed cotton fabric using my drawn motifs coloured with chalks and pencil crayons. I wanted a hand drawn look for these. these will be used for cushion covers, knitting needle cases and peg bags.
